If you are in need of community resources for rental and/or utility assistance, please consult the following resource guides:
Legal Aide Works provides Landlord-Tenant Law Guides and educates renters about their rights. The guides, also available in Spanish, also provide information on evictions and foreclosures.
Rappahannock United Way provides free financial education, coaching and assistance to working individuals and households. Rent and mortgage assistance is available to eligible households who have been financially impacted by the pandemic or other life events.
The Virginia Rent Relief Program provides assistance for both tenants and landlords with rent payments. This resource can assist with current rent payments, as well as unpaid previous payments.
